Every dollar goes directly into keeping ONLY POEMS alive, kicking, and occasionally screaming beautiful things into the void. No amount is too small. We've been moved to tears by $3 donations. Attend Our Workshops
Poetry can be a lonely art. You, the blank page, and that blinking cursor mocking your existence. But it doesn't always have to be that way. Our workshops are where poets become better poets. Where strangers become the kind of writing partners who will tell the cold poetic truth without breaking your heart. Where breakthroughs happen at 12pm on a Saturday and suddenly everyone's crying over some particularly refined enjambment.
Led by experienced, award-winning poets and writers, our creative writing workshops are fun, accessible, and endlessly inspiring. Generally, we host one workshop a month on a different topic or theme, but we usually have six months scheduled out at least, so you can always see what you might be interested in and book a spot (they’re limited in order to create a more intimate learning experience!).

Many of our poets have poetry collections and chapbooks out in the world, and still others are working toward the same. When you buy their books, you're supporting the entire poetry ecosystem – the indie presses who publish poetry, the bookstores that stock their books, and of course the poets themselves who probably have day jobs but spend their lunch breaks scribbling on random receipts because they can't not write.
We love the idea of you holding a whole book by a poet you first discovered in our pages.
